What is a literature review?

To Help Figure Out What Works
As stated in the title, this first prupose helps teachers and educators to find different practices for students with different learning challenges.
To Pursue a Topic, Problem, or Question of Professional and/or Personal Interest
If the teacher or educator has some questions about a topic of interest that he/she would like to address, it will be helpful to do some research.
To Pinpoint an Area of Further Study
A literature review may help the teacher/educator to investigate whether or not they have addressed the topic in question.
To Provide a Rationale/Background for Study
If you are in a research project, the literature review allows you to have a justification to participate in the topic of interest.
To Survey or Analyze Research Methodology
Through a bibliographic review, you can analyze the way in which the topic was studied, the methodology used, as well as research that literature to clear up any doubts that may arise around the topic. This purpose helps you find the way to create your research.
