As an ambassador I will try to engage my colleagues to work together as an innovation team. I also try to collaborate with the institutes in the network to provide support regarding the ESEP platform and to motivate teachers to take part in eTwinning projects. My school has been an eTwinning School for two consecutive years and has two ambassadors, is the leader of an Erasmus consortium and has to play a role of guide and example for other schools in the network and in the area. Our Actions Speak Louder Than Our Words

For me this is my rule that I follow in my school. Doing engagement activities for students about various subjects and give my students a chance to express their ideas and feelings using different approaches like student- centered and collaborative learning all these activities will allow students to pursue their interests outside of the classroom.

When teachers students and also the local community see me do any activity with eTwenning students all keep asking what are you doing and ask about eTwenning platform and how can they be a part of it .

Mother’s meeting for me a chance to tell mothers more about eTwenning .Most of the mothers are enthusiastic to let their children participate.

When Ambassador does Workshops for teachers and local community this will be a very effective way to tell others about eTwenning.

As an ambassador, the first thing I will start is to motivate and encourage my colleagues to take part in various eTwinning projects, since lately and after the schools returned to facial learning, students and some colleagues were asking about my eTwinning activities and how to participate in them, and of course I explained to them.

There is also an annual meeting I held with the parents and the local community at the beginning of the school year that I told them about eTwinning community and its projects and the importance of involving the student in such projects. And with that!! I was able to engage about 50 new students in school in twinning projects.

Also, the implementation of training workshops for the local community and parents is one of the most important things that will help to encourage my colleagues to work. The existence of such activities is curious for them to know and join them, as well as to involve teachers and give them some organizational responsibilities during which they add a sense of responsibility.

And continuous meetings with teachers to inform them of everything new in the twinning society that adds knowledge and raises teachers' concerns to join the twinning

The eTwinning School Label is a prestigious award that recognises the teamwork of an entire school with regards to eTwinning. I agree with all the strict criteria as this award should be a true reflection of the continuous work undertaken by eTwinners.
As an eTwinning ambassador I believe it is important that I encourage my colleagues to continuously participate in projects, events and professional development as well as sharing examples of good practise. Dissemination of our work is key. By making the work visible to others we offer encouragement to new colleagues and motivation for others who would love to
participate in new projects and events but are unsure as to how to do this.
Being an eTwinning ambassador in an eTwinning school is wonderful. It gives me so much

Well, firstly in my school I'm really engaged in involving colleagues of any subjects to enroll in eTwinning platform and monitoring projects they could like to enroll in.
As ambassadors I am engaged with New Teachers' trainers courses using webinars where I can share with them the enormous chances they can get in a European dimension of teaching and learning. Next days I will meet some colleagues to help them in finding partners. This activity sometimes can result particularly difficult for teachers who don't have a consistent network of contacts.

1. nurture his /her motivation by keeping updated, informed and etwinned

3. exchange visits to other ambassadors schools, build a "personal" network in order to match coworkers with more or experienced partners and easy the burden of selecting the good partner
4. support co workers in the registration process which is the first obstacle with technology, with helpdesk and may be a real obstacle to a fragile, initial motivation
5. rise awareness in the management about the advantages provided by intn. projects for all subjects ( find ways to allow teachers to meet in eTwin plannings, allow etwn teacher to share the same classes, allow experienced etwin teachers to be models and tutors for younger teachers
6. organize online meeting with possible partners and brainstorm project ideas that are rooted in the school curricula and at the same time cater for curriculum innovation

In my opinion, the big question is: what can an eTwinning ambassador do to transform his/her school into an etwinning school? An awarded eTwinning school is a place where colleaguese know how to work collaboratively, how to share leadership and good practices and they have already formed a professional learning community. But to get there, I believe it takes an eTwinning ambassador (or just an enthusiastic, experienced eTwinner if not an ambassador) to lead the way. The key person who will insire all others, engage their students and will let their enthusiasm permeate the whole school. They will guide new eTwinners in their first steps, organise webinars, share good practices, work collaboratively on different projects and help disseminate all activities. They will promote the use of ICT and the implementation of innovative teaching methods and will help change the leadeship model in the school.
All these require a significant amount of time on behalf of all school members, so the most challenging part would be convincing everyone that the result is worth the effort!
When the goal is achieved and the school is awarded with the eTwinning School Label, an ambassador will help fulfill its mission and be a model school for others.

An ambassador can do so much for his/her school. This is a fact. Sometimes it happens to work in a school where some teachers have never experienced Erasmus or eTwinning before. In this case, the role of the ambassador teacher takes on even greater importance. First he/she can start by stimulating dialogue with the school colleagues, by bringing examples of past projects. Then he/she can start projects under his/her guidance and example. It is an easy job if there is desire among colleagues to improve their professionalism; it is a difficult job when the interlucutors oppose to experimenting/trying/testing themselves and find it even too difficult to communicate in a language other than their native one. "Example" is the keyword, the only one capable of pushing change forward!

Being an Ambassador in my school, which is an eTwinning school, allows me to lead the group of eTwinners in organizing different activities.
*I am the one who follows attentively all workshops that are organized by the NSO and distribute/share the information with the teachers from my school and from the district as well.
*I also encourage teachers and pupils to participate in the spring/autumn campaign.
*When I start a project or am invited to one, I also involve my colleagues.
* I provide examples of good practices.
* I disseminate the projects and invite the new teachers to be guests in eTwinning projects.
* I convince other teachers to become eTwinning teachers.
An Ambassador also should help in distributing the roles in a school to have shared leadership. She/he can also help in communication and collaboration between teachers. He/she is the one who can involve parents by speaking to them about what their role can be in the eTwinning community.

The role of the etwinning ambassador should focus not only on schools that are already etwinning schools but also on those that are not but wish to be able to be so. Considering that the etwinning ambassador is responsible for the promotion of several schools in the region assigned to him, the activities should be comprehensive and involve the teachers of these schools.
In the current school year, the etwinning ambassadors of Portugal have planned several courses in the various regions of the country in order to disseminate etwinning and guide teachers on the new eTwinning platform. Webinars were also planned, online support, among several other activities.
At my school, I disseminate eTwinning through formal and informal meetings with teachers, support colleagues in new registrations and project development, and promote activities with students. Students are also involved in the news of dissemination of the projects in school magazines and blogs. Given that etwinning at my school was started with projects developed by my deaf students, they end up being a reference for colleagues and are always very proud to be part of eTwinning assisting in everything that is asked of them.

I'll do my best to make my school become an eTwinning school, as it isn't yet. In order to achieve it as result I can:

1. Reflect with the members of our Erasmus Committee (school Principal and teachers from different grades) on the opportunities offered by eTwinning both at a pedagogical and professional level and take decisions about the activities we can carry on in order to actively support all staff to become involved in eTwinning;

2. Schedule a calendar of the Committee meetings during the school year. During the meeting we will work together to plan eTwinning and Erasmus activities. We will also plan meeting involving the whole school staff in order to share experiences and practices with our colleagues, both inside and outside the school. This collaboration would drive innovation and change in our school and in the schools of the local network;

3. Involve the student who are taking part in eTwinning and Erasmus projects in open school days. During these days students should share their experiences with other students and also with parents, showing them practical examples of activities and outcomes made during former projects using technology and digital tools.

4. Our school leads a network of small schools spread through a wide area. We have already launched eTwinning into the network. We will keep on promoting eTwinning and disseminating their achievements through as many means as possible: open days, information briefings, and mentoring schemes.

5. We’ll keep on seeking ways to create an inclusive environment for students of every ability and culture, their parents and the wider community. Now we are welcoming Ukrainian students who are in trouble dealing with the school program as they don’t speak Italian. We might start new eTwinning project involving Ukrainian schools, in order to make school program more attractive for our students.

As Ambassadors we must try to make the managing board include eTwinning in our staff meetings and in our School Planning, celebrate seminars with a team of experienced eTwinners and with the rest of teachers to discuss activities and design the action plan together at the beginning of the school year following a model proposed by the Ambassador, who will check the state-of-the-art from time to time to detects needs, assess and provide some helps to those who require it and he or she must coordinate and record all that action.

Our school has been already an eTwinning school and this year we applied again for the eTwinning school label, since we recognise the importance and values of eTwinning. The gateto this wonderful world was already opened from the previous eTwinning ambassador, who was in our school and inspired many teachers to get involved in eTwinning projects. Since there are new teachers at our school, who didn't have the chance to get to know eTwinning, online courses and many informal meetings were organised in order to inform, support and inspire them.

eTwinning Ambassadors are enthusiastic teachers with extensive experience in the program who have participated in numerous projects and achieved the recognition of the National or European Quality Label or have been awarded the European eTwinning National Award. They act as role models, inspiring students and teachers and supporting colleagues who are getting started in eTwinning, both on technical and educational matters.
The school they work in is usually an Etwinning school, a school which is a leader in the eTwinning world, which recognises the importance and values
of eTwinning and embedes it in its

I'm an eTwinning Ambassador since last year but my school is not an eTwinning school yet, as I'm relatively new in my new school and eTwinning was not actually embedded in the school policy. This year I have applied to become an eTwinning school, so keep finger crossed.
By the way, what if think an eTwinning Ambassador should do , and what I'm actually trying to do in my school, is to:
- share the eTwinning values with other colleagues and make them aware of the potentials of the eTwinning community;
- encourage the other colleagues to join the eTwinning community and to take part to the professional development courses which are offered in the ESEP platform and/or by the eTwinning Ambassadors;

In my opinion an eTwinning school is a referee of good practices in eTwinning but sometimes is difficult to develop eTwinning philosophy properly since we dont have the time for coordinating in our daily basis. The embassador can contribute through collaboration, sharing and team work and also through innovation and inclusión. I think an eTwinning ambassador can help with the collaborative tasks, also can help with the coordination between schools and can be an important support for the school needs.

Definitely the ambassador is the link between the eTwinning resources (platform, eTwinning team, etc.) and the schools.

3 examples:
- An eTwinning school does not know how to make an online activity collaboratively: The ambassador can propose some tolos as well as some ideas to implement it.

- An eTwinning school does not know how to adapt an activity for their special needs children. THe ambassador can ask NSO for some tools or addaptations if he/she does not know them.

- An eTwinning school does not know how to do the disemination and promotion of the Project. The ambassador can use national eTwinning accounts to help it.

An area of the Etwinning School Mission I would like to involve my colleagues in is that of being a model for other schools. As a matter of fact, I believe that mentoring other schools – for instance the ones in our territory we are linked with via institutional networks – will make us more aware of how much we have accomplished integrating eTwinning into our curricular practice and will give us the satisfaction of sharing our know how. Many of my colleagues think that they are not capable of teaching other teachers, that they are not ready in terms of expertise. Here is how I have tried to promote eTwinning and ERASMUS projects without knowing it was part of an eTwinning school mission.

I started trying to ask one colleague to work with me in a project last year and he liked the activity he wanted to do. He realised it was not so difficult to work with another school far away from us and to create activities with the other colleague. Our pupils understood what they had to do and enjoyed it as well.

In fact I have been involved in using eTwinning with more colleagues thanks to our ERASMUS projects (job-shadowing and Course to develop their understanding of English).

I explained how to use eTwinning to promote our ERASMUS projects. We set up an Etwinning project dedicated to our job-shadowning experience in Croatia. It worked well.

My principal accepted the plan to develop our ERASMUS pupils mobilities and as a consequence our eTwinning projects. Thus our pupils will be able to work in collaboration with their European partners and it will promote our projects.

Now as our ERASMUS projects are growing in my school, I am more involved in organising meetings with the interested staff:

- I showed how the ESEP platform works (how to register, organisation) and all our ERASMUS projects for 2023-2024 (staff mobilities: job-shadowing, courses/ trainings, pupil mobilities).

- What eTwinning is and how to get organised in order to create the project from scratch with our European partners.

- I will teach them how to create an eTwinning project with interactive and collaborative activities with the help of a pedagogical sheet to follow with their European partners. How to use the TwinSpace and the technical elements in order to add the ICT tools , pictures, photos and files. What the requirements are in order to ask for a Quality Label in case they feel they can have it.
Hence the importance of the training we are following as ambassadors.

- I have also been involved in training sessions on the ESEP platform and eTwinning thanks to the consortium I am part of and an office involved in promoting Europe in my region. So I teach various levels : from primary school teachers to high school teachers and principal/ headmasters.

I prepared a file to try and get the eTwinning School Label. I don't know when the result will be announced.

In my school I start with an ESEP platform introduction and haow teachers can find projects and people to work with.
Later we will try to find a general idea where more than 2 teachers could work together and we try to involve other teacher (subjects) with possible examples of activities that they could develop in class with their students.

Promoting and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation in teaching and learning is certainly the main task of an ambassador. How can this be translated into a real action plan?

Personally, I started spreading the opportunities of the eTwinning program right from my first approaches to the community. For this reason, my head teacher appointed me as the eTwinning contact person of our school.

In my opinion it is very important:

- to create and support a working group in one's Institute, because collaboration begins with one's colleagues. (I created an eTwinning group just for my collegues)

- eTwinning must become an integral part of the school curriculum because only in this way can change be initiated.

It is hard to find some new and smart ideas after reading all these interesting proposals... However, teaching in a high school I sthink that the best way to involve the other colleagues and students is creating an eTwinning corner physically in an important area of the school, such as near the caffetteria, whre everibody passes and spend some relaxing time and also a virtual eTwinning corner or space on the school website so that also parents can be informed.
Thus the students, the collegues and even the parents will be willing to get further information during dedicated meetings/ webinars...something like pass the word as a first step to develop stakeholders's curiosity.

I'm an enthusiastic teacher and an e-Twinning Ambassador willing to share my experience in eTwinning, the educational values behind this international community and the EU. It offers innovative methods, approaches and tools that we can exploit and use to make a better and motivating learning environment. NSO offer a great support to the Ambassadors and to all the eTwinners.
My school is not an e-Twinning school yet, that's why I would like to involve the teachers and the staff of my school in order to create a team school based where:
- to train about the new ESEP platform and the eTwinning
- to explain how eTwinning can be easily integrated easily in the curriculum thank to the variety of activities, topics, subjects that you can enhance (foreign languages, ICT, Steam, sustainability, key competences, active citezenship...)
- to develop our digital skills and to understand the learning benefits for our students and for our professional path
Organizing events (seminars, meetings online or onsite, exhibitions, social networkings...) inside the school or outside can inspire other teachers, parents, and stakeholders... Support, collaboration, effective communication, innovation, inclusion and dissemination are pillar strategies for being also an e-Twinning school.
To be recognize as an e-Twinning school is a great opportunity for the whole institution and its actors but also a great responsibility!

An Ambassador should promote
- collaboration between teachers through projects that are done on the Etwinning platform
- collaboration between schools national and internationally (this way, he can contribute to link the local community of educators and promote active learning to students and building confidence)
All of this contribute to a better climate of work at school and a better recognition of the work of the students and the teachers and gives tools of dissemination.
An Ambassador should provide training , documents, support and guidance,
- to his/her colleague.s who launch their first Etwinning project.
- to students outside the classroom when they have tasks to realize on digital tools (one hour a week and/or to train the ressource center teacher) ;
- to the school direction to promote Etwinning actions during the pedagogical meeting in the school and outside the school.
Etwinning Ambassador disseminate projects during pedagogical meetings and encourage other teachers to do so. Indeed, most of the time teachers are implementing projets in the schools but do not disseminate them.
Ambassadors have direct contacts with the local community in particular the representatives of the town and parents and invite them to schools for events to disseminate projects.

The role of the eTwinning ambassador should be as comprehensive as possible. According to his/her region of activity, the ambassador must publicize, promote and encourage the teaching staff of all schools to join eTwinning and to place their school on the maps of the eTwinning School Labels of Europe.

This year, eTwinning Ambassadors from Portugal are just days away from starting the blended-learning Encounters in their regions of operation – eTwinning Road’2023.
These Meetings have a face-to-face aspect, lasting 1 day, whose focus will be to make eTwinning known, to make known good practices carried out by eTwinners with eTwinning recognition and dissemination of projects that can lead to innovative and successful practices . The online aspect will focus on creating ESEP registration, updating profiles, creating projects and managing the TwinSpace, as well as sharing some collaborative online tools that facilitate the work developed with eTwinning partners.

As the island of Madeira is a geographically small area, this Meeting will have an impact on school leaders and all teachers who express an interest in being present.

After some years I went to school for short time. I see how must be changes in teaching and communicating with pupils.

As the eTwinning ambassador, webinars were organized for teachers working in schools on topics such as the introduction of the eTwinning Project and the use of digital tools in eTwinning Projects. A webinar was also organized where teachers presented their own projects. Thus, the eTwinning Project and its activities were tried to be disseminated in schools. A fair was organized on a provincial basis, where teachers' remarkable eTwinning Projects were exhibited. As an ambassador I promote the idea of the program with yearly eTwinning seminars in my kindergarten. I often send the links to webinars and to videos of my projects. The main goal for this year and I think also the biggest goal for me as an Ambassador is to have and manage and eTwinning team in my school. With that team I would encourage teachers to join and/or start with projects, I would help them with the project work, dissemination and all the other problems they may encounter on the way. I would also encourage them to take part in eTwinning seminars and webinars and to include local community into their projects.

Demonstrating results usually works better on colleagues - for example, the National Quality certificate, eTwinning awards, some tangible products (if any) that were made during the eTwinning projects. Good results are more inticing.

We organize and we suggest courses to find new teaching methodologies,

I take part in the eTwinnig group of work to organize moment to share good practices . I know we have to involve more and more. In my experience in Italy there are difficulties due to technologies problems, but also because some teachers are afraid to change their way to teach and because they have to respect the annual programm. Usually teachers that work in pre-primary and primary are more easy to involve exactly for this reason.

My school has been an eTwinning school since 2018 and I believe my role as ambassador is to provide guidance, moral and technical support, create connections and help my colleagues see the value of student agency.

The recipe for success in my opinion is:

supportive management team, crazy enough to try and stick with etwinning and encourage other teachers to do so as well
open-minded colleagues that you can work with; I usually ask them to do small activities as part of a project (they don't scare that easily that way) and then we work together
I provide training sessions together with our school inspectorate because in my country a certificate is worth a lot
I find opportunities for my students to showcase their work so it doesn't seem that hard
I provide examples of integration into the curriculum because this is where the difficulty lies
we have Erasmus accreditation so we have sent about 16 teachers to trainings on ICT, gamification, wellbeing, things they brought back with them which made it easier to get in the right mindset
1:1 mentoring where needed (sometimes during our breaks while enjoying a cup of coffee)

I think that the idea of awarding eTwinning School recognition represents an effective strategy to increase the number of new teachers registered in the programme.

In this case, as ambassadors we have a challenging mission to face, which involves convincing and dragging teachers into a sometimes radical change in methodology and approach to teaching.

My school did not apply to become an eTwinning School, because it did not have the necessary requirements to obtain this recognition and therefore even less to maintain it, if it had obtained it.

For me, therefore, mission impossible, too much work!

Sometimes it is important to recognize your own limits and especially those of your school.

To conclude I would therefore say that ambassadors can do a lot to make their school an eTwinning School, however I fear that in some cases, unfortunately,

I encourage new teachers to participate in interdisciplinar projects, to be part of eTwinning, and try new tools or small new projects, where they can lead a small part of the project or specific tasks. To strengthen inclusion and values, I promote activities that celebrate languages and cultural diversity, such as European Day of Languages or the Day of Europe (we participate in a project about monuments which ends celebrating the Europe Day). This project involves six teachers of my school.We have also celebrated the Children's day with a videoconference (in other of our current projects) sharing poems, traditions and folklore with partner schools. I have just moved to a new school, with no previous experience in eTwinning, but some of the teachers have collaborated in my projects this school year and I hope they will create their own projects next school year. As an ambassador, I will propose a number of activities- not only for my school but for other schools in my region- like these ones:

- 'Students eTwinners Group' which will be formed by: students from all levels and groups in the school, the school management and the eTwinning coordinator. This group will have a say in the design of eTwinning projects and will make sure the students with special needs or in risk form part of the projects.
