1) I found some of the activities new and interesting today. For example I like perfect day and I will use it in my classes.
2) I sometimes use different sources for listening activities because the listening text in the coursebooks don't get the attraction of the students. I usually use oxford books' listening texts or sometims from British council's. I learnt some new ones here and I am looking forward to use them too.
3) I like the activity find someone who...... because it can be joyful in class. Students lke learning new things about their friends and they can enjoy this activity. I can also use it in larger classes by diving into groups .

1) The most common problem of my students is being afraid of making mistakes ( grammar or pronunciation) while they are speaking. Some of them are shy or aren't self confident to speak in front of the others they aren't eager to speak.
2) I would try paper slides activity for every grade I am teaching. The topic will change according to the thing I am teaching but it is intersting and creative. I mean they will try to draw write and of course record their own voices. As I said if they are shy and don't want to film themselves it is a good way to make them speak.
3) I will try voki if I have the chance when I go back. They will create their own avatar ( ( character) and they will learn the correct pronunciation by using sth like this. And I will ask them what they want to talk about and this will make that they choose the topic and they are interestedin that topic, so they will talk more.

1) reading race was new for me I have never experienced before and it was fun ( we won the game maybe it is because of that) I am looking forward to apply it in my classes. But I like jack and ann activity too.
2) I wil try an activity like jack and ann because it is very creative from the beginning to the end. I like active reading activities. I will try this in my pdc sessions.
3) I have no more questions thnx for everything.

1) first of all I rarely use y/n questions after teaching new grammar subjects. Next time after I teach grammar I will ask some simple questions about the subject I taught to make it clear if my stdnts could understand it or not. I will do the same ( y/n questions) in vocabulary teaching too. I am teaching 12th grade language class and If the grammar is difficult to understand ( e.g. conjunctions such as thanks to besides not only but also either neither…) what should I do to make them understand these easily? What should you suggest me? Thnx so much :)
2) I like dolmus game because it is fun and stdts are active in this game. If there is a game and if there is a winner team it motivates them to take part in the activities. And the winners will feel great and bext time the stds will do their best to win if they lose the first one. I like tarzan conversation a lot. As a warm up I will use this activity to take the stds attention. It is also active and fun and the stds will feel they speak eng without grammar and they will feel self confident. Line up is one of my favourites because they will hurry up to be the first group to find their meaningful sentence . I think it will be a post grammar teaching activity to understand if they are able to make the meaningful sentences using the new grammar subject .
3) I will talk about all the activities we did to my colleagues when I go back. I will explain them especially line up and tarzan conversation to use in 9th grades. I will also mention about CCQ after teaching sth new to be sure if the subject is understood or not. In my pdc meetings I will use dolmus ( because it is one of my favourite) and if the teachers are feeling bored they will be actuve and have fun . I will try Line up to make them meet each other and feel more comfortable in a group where they dont know anyone. Thnx for sharing these techniques with us today .

1) First of all at the beginning I only think about exams and marks/ grades when you asked about formative assessment but now if I don't misunderstand we can assess not only by exams but also it can be by self-check and can /do lists. Feeedback is a part of formal assessment.
2) To be honest my mind is so full and I sometimes forget what we did in the morning or the day before. We are always active during the class, learning new methods or refreshing our minds what we know before. I will want the teachers to have a padlet because it is one of the most useful things I have used. Padlet is a good way to use three skills effectively and in an enjoyable way. for example writing a comment is agood warm-up for writing or creating a wild animal, fav food / city etc will be interesting. I will read all the links you shared and get some clues or some useful materials from them, too when I go back to my hometown. I hope and I think that they will be so useful for me when preparing a pdc.
3) I am a little bit confused and nervous about my Pdc. Befor we came here I attended one in late Sept or early Oct ( I don't remember the exact time) and all the teachers were bored because of the facilitator. She did nothing new to us and the session was listening. Now mine is Formal assessment and I hope I will not be in her shoes after the meeting. I am lucky because you said we will share sth after this training and it makes me feel more confident. Thanks for all the things you shared with us. As Katy and Asu's teachers I believe we will do our best in our own Pdcs.
