The achievement state is the point where someone has explored the aspects of a certain career and has committed to it. I have spent many hours in the hospital as a volunteer and spent a week shadowing in the pediatric general surgery operating room. I have personally seen what nurses go through everyday. My personal experiences helped me make my decision on becoming a nurse. I am also committed to nursing because I chose to use my college education to become a nurse.
