         <description><![CDATA[<div>Andrew Carnegie was born in Dunfermline, UK on November 25, 1835. His family and he moved to the U.S. on 1848 for better opportunities. Years after he made his fortune by entering in the steel industry. He also became a major philanthropist. His first fortune happened in his early 30s, after investing in various venting such as oil and iron companies. Carnegie was a major force in the steel industry.          <description><![CDATA[<div>Born in West Overton, PA on  December 19, 1849. Clay was a  U.S. industrialist, art collector, and philanthropist. He began building and operating coke ovens in 1870. Also helped on building the largest coke and steel operations. He was son of John W. Frick, a farmer, and Elizabeth Overholt, the daughter of Abraham Overholt, a successful distiller of whiskey and the wealthiest citizen in Westmoreland County. Drew entered the life of the Erie Railroad and in 1857 became a director.          <description><![CDATA[<div>James J. Hill was born on September 16, 1838 at Eramosa, Canada. Hill was a railroad magnate responsible for greatly expanding railways into the U.S. Northwest during the late 19th century. His father died when he was only 14 years old. In 1866 he founded his own company. Charles Yerkes was an American financier and by 1862 he was able to purchase his own banking house. He was imprisoned due to misappropriation of funds.
