Divas are individuals that are glamorous, fashionable, successful, and distinguished. Divas are also know for having high standards and expectations that they hold themselves to as well as others. these descriptions perfectly sum up Eva! You will see from Eva’s honors and awards that she has personally been successful in many different types of endeavors and held herself (and teammates) to high standards along the way.  As president, Eva will strive to hold our government to the high standards citizens have for it.  To borrow from Abraham Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address, may the government of the United States be a “[…] government of the Divas, by the Divas, for the Divas [that] shall not perish […]”.  Eva strives to create a Diva Democracy that is a living form of government by listening to what is important to the people and actively working to with all people to promote “a more perfect nation”.  This type of democracy takes on complex issues and questions and works to promote “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness” for all people.  We need diva leaders, like Eva, that are bold, brave and most importantly have the courage to listen to the needs of people and work with teams inside and outside government to bring about change. I believe that we can turn this problem around and make our earth and country healthier and stronger. The Washington post says that there is about 7 billion tons of trash in landfills and in the ocean. millions of animals are dying every year from mistaking trash for food, but really this can harm the animals but can also harm us. If we eat animals that have eaten trash from the sea or land they can give us toxin poisoning witch can be life threatening or even deadly if not treated. but no fear because there are still things that we can do to help like, recycling, using more multi use things instead of single use, using less plastic, and NOT using Styrofoam because it takes a really really long time for them to disintegrate.
