         <description><![CDATA[<p>Describe:</p><p>The amylase activity rises steadily at 0-60,and rises rapidly until it reaches it’s peak at 70,and finally drops down at 80.</p><p>Explain:</p><p>The temperature effects the rate of activity of amylase,and 60-70 is at the peak, after it goes beyond the optimum temperature, high heat breaks the hydrogen bonds inside the enzyme molecule.so once it reaches 80 the enzyme becomes denatured and permanently unusable.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Describe : </p><p><br/></p><p>From 0°C to 70°C, the line of the graph increases gradually. (1)</p><p>At 70°C, it reaches it’s highest point</p><p>From 70°C to 90°C , the line drops rapidly. (1)</p><p><br/></p><p>Explanation :</p><p><br/></p><p>As the temperature increases, the amylase activity increases with it. Because as the temperature increases, there will be more kinetic energy and move faster.(1) </p><p>At 70°C, it reaches it’s optimum temperature, it’s activity is at it’s maximum. Because it has more kinetic energy, the enzyme will move faster, the chances of forming an enzyme-substrate complex increases.(1)</p><p>From 70°C-90°C, the activity decreases rapidly, since the extreme higher temperature cause comformational change to its active site. The substrate won’t be able to fit into the active site. Making the enzyme permanently denatured , losing it’s catalytic ability. (1)</p><p><br/></p><p><br/></p>]]></description>
