I am a third-year, First Grade teacher in the Downingtown Area School District. Before starting graduate school at Holy Family university, I went to West Chester University for my Undergraduate degree in elementary education. I then began working towards a special education certification before switching gears and applying to a reading specialist program. My goal through this program is to better serve my students. I’d like to be knowledgeable, proactive, and organized in my teaching, and I feel that this program can help me to accomplish that.

I am a newlywed as of July 2nd, 2016. I love to cook (mainly eat!) and travel with friends and family, but I spend most of my time planning for, laughing with, and teaching my awesome first grade class.
