slopes of "Etna". Mine is a primary school and includes classes of kindergarten with children aged 3 to 5 years and the primary classes with pupils aged 6 to 10 years. 

 

Our school is equipped with: a Computer lab, fixed and mobile, Tablet PC and, in

almost all classes there are the LIM, and those special for disabled children.

My student are 7 years old and attending the 2° grade class.

 

 

when the opportunity was presented to teach math at the beginning was scared of not being able but then I started to love this discipline and I tried to convey this love for math also to my students, using different strategies.

In my opinion, it depends on us teachers  to do to love students any discipline,  trying not to make it

boring any lessons

Before I start a new lesson, I download it to App Tablets with games of math, at first I play my pupils with these apps, then I present the lesson in the form of a game, etc ....

What always works with my pupils is learning through the game

Unfortunately in my school we do not have the Internet and you can not propose online games.

Often I bring my students out of the classroom, outdoors, and I can carry out various activities that involve  various disciplines and among these also mathematics, I am convinced that any activity carried out in form of play is also more engaging for the pupils less interested.

An example of outdoor play to make direct comparisons and to check the capacity: form two teams and

the team that first fills a bottle of one liter with a glass wins.  

the student understands how many deciles it contains a liter and how many glasses, a decilitre, must pour to fill the bottle.

 

 

 

The notes are in fact the time indicators; every note may have a duration which is expressed through a different musical shape. Just like in the pentagram the height in which it is positioned the note indicates the frequency, in the same way the symbol through which the note is indicated and expresses its duration.

Surely in these years I've learned so much  and thanks to eTwinning projects,  I met a lot of colleagues  and learned different ways of working at school.

My students work with great enthusiasm and I am very pleased.

 My students use technological tools  because they work more enthusiastically and learn better.

The dangers at school are limited because we teachers are attentive and we monitor our students,

unfortunately the most frequent danger is at home, because parents always think that they can trust their own son, and in my opinion they are wrong.
