         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>How will memory capacity affect web performance?<br></strong>When you load a new Web page in your browser, that page is downloaded into your computer's memory. If that page contains content that requires significant memory, such as high resolution graphics, more memory and more time will be required to store that in the main memory of your computer.<br><br></div><div>Internet providers often recommend a specific minimum memory size for reliable Internet access. This doesn't mean that all of that memory is necessary for browsing the Web, but low memory can have an indirect effect on your experience. All open programs will utilize some memory. If your main memory is nearly full and you try to download a Web page with your browser, your computer may have a memory management conflict. This will require that your processor move the main memory's contents to a different location in main memory -- or possibly even to disk memory.          <description><![CDATA[<div>How does it affect the performance:<br>It affects the performance as there is not enough space on the processor so it can not fit any more stuff in it so it will take a long time for the website to load up.<br><br>Revisiting websites:<br>It is usually faster as the memory of the website is saved within your processor already.<br><br>Opening Multiple Tabs:<br>When you open up a lot of tabs on your browser this uses up a lot of RAM and CPU storage this will then eventually lead to your browser slowing down.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>What is band width?<br></strong>Band width is the speed at which the data can be transfers, a higher bandwith means that there can be more information being sent and received at once. The higher bandwidth is needed for websites that are accessed often (such as Google) this is because it will be constantly be sending out information to the end users. <br>The smaller and less frequently the website is viewed the less bandwidth is needed.<br><strong><br>DDOS:</strong><br>By having high band with is will also reduce the risk of having your website blocked by DDOS attacks as there has to be more information to block the website from working. <br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Image<br></strong>Bitmap - These are made up by pixels and are mostly used for high definition images, photographs and more. Popular formats include .JPEG, .GIF and more. These are harder to compress since loss of detail could happen and ruin the image since pixels are thrown away. <br>Vector - These are made up by shapes for basic logos, colours, banners and more, and are not used for detailed images. Popular examples of formats include .AI and .EPS. These are easy to compress, but often don't need to be compressed considering their file size is smaller than Bitmap.<strong><br></strong><br><strong>Sound<br></strong>.WAV - This is used for smaller files, especially from when using Audacity for sound affects, editing podcasts and more. These can be played on many different players. These are usually uncompressed so it is harder to send these since they take more time to send, upload and download.<br>.MP3 - This is the basic file type for music when you download it to your phone, and is also the most popular of the two because of how it is used. These are popular everywhere and can be played almost anywhere too. These are often compressed to make it easier to send and download and upload and more.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Video</strong><br>AVI - Audio video Interleave was developed by Microsoft. It is a universally accepted file type, that are able to run on a variety of different systems and supported by many popular web browsers.<br><br>FLV - Flash Video format files are encoded by Adobe Flash software. Adobe video player is installed on many user's browsers, allowing them to be highly accessible. FLVs also retain high video quality when compressed, meaning that FLVs on the web load quickly and don't spend time using up bandwidth.<br><br>WMV - WMV was developed by Microsoft for web streaming, but as of recently it has become more used for specialized content. Their file size decreases dramatically when compressed, allowing them to be some of the smallest video formats available, which in turn makes them highly portable, at the cost of video quality. The small file size also allows them to be shared via email, unlike many other formats.<br><br>MOV - <br><br>MP4<br><br><strong>Animation<br></strong>GIF - GIFs are very commonly used for small, simple animations. The processing takes place on the end users computer. The source code is transferred from the web <strong>server</strong> to the users computer over the internet and run directly in the browser.
