Materials:  cubes or balls, arena or play area, robot, stopwatch/timer, score sheet, 
  • Traffic light: Stack 3 blocks on top of each other in the order of a traffic light.
    • 10 points for completion
    • 5 points if you are faster than your competitor
  • Movers:  Move object from point A to point B (timed 2 min).  2 points for every block put in place. Block is to be dropped into the drop zone 
  • Squirrel:  Collect as many object as you can  and place them in the dropzone outside the arena. (timed- 2 min).  2 teams at the same time.  
  • MAZE RUNNER:  Race through the course as fast as you can without hitting objects.  Each hit is a penalty (1 point). Course should have 3-4 turns contained within a rectangular arena.  Turn can be marked by blocks or other objects.
  • Maze battle: complete tasks as they arise in the maze.  Most tasks completed in x time is winner.
  • Defend the line:  Team A tries to Penetrate into team Bś territory.  Team B must defend the territory and prevent A from advancing.  (best of 3) switch roles (30s per round).  Both bots start at opposing ends of the arena and move forward on ´go´.
  • 10 points to reach other side
  • 0 points if you have not crossed centre line at the end of time.
  • 5 points if you have crossed line but did not reach the end wall.

  • Battle of the bridge:  Players board the teeter totter.  Bots then try to knock off the other bot.
  • 10 points for a knock off
  • Repeat until time is up.
