As a secondary education language student. I think learning linguistics or any language-related information is fun and exciting. However, I find it hard sometimes to pronounce particular english words correctly since I was accustomed to my Cuyonen dialect. Despite this problem, I am still determined to do whatever it takes to survive this program and eventually become a full-pledged secondary English teacher that will help my students in the best way I can. :D

As a future educator in language, the most surprising challenge I’ve faced is seeing how powerful words can be in shaping lives. Language is not just about grammar or vocabulary—it is the key to understanding, connection, and change. One moment that truly inspired me was realizing how many students struggle to express themselves, not because they lack ideas, but because they lack the right words. This made me determined to pursue this path, knowing that by teaching language, I am giving people the ability to share their stories, stand up for themselves, and build a brighter future.
