For this reason, we need to engage our students in collaborative learning. I also loved the section in Chapter 1 where it talked about how each student enters the classroom with different passions and abilities. We always have to take this into consideration when making an instructional decision. 
I also found it interesting the idea of school cohorts. These are so essential because it is so important to gather ideas and instructional tools from those we teach with.
