         <description><![CDATA[<div>With struggling readers there is the model-lead-test strategy that teachers can employ, so that students are allowed the opportunity to, "hear an example of correct letter-sound mapping</div><div>(model), practice with teacher guidance (lead), and then</div><div>produce the sound independently (test)." Systematic Instruction. </div><div>Teachers can also take time to "fine tune" their letter-sound (phoneme-grapheme) production to insure that they are correctly producing the phonemes in isolation. </div>]]></description>
