I'm a 6th grade LA and SS teacher. I'd use HyperDocs for grammar and writing assignments, since they are topics students have a diverse background knowledge in. Self-paced lessons would benefit all levels of learners. In SS, we do many project-based assessments and HyperDocs would give more structure and one-stop-shopping for the instructions, pace, and resources.

I'd like to try using a hyperdoc out during math station rotation for each of the topics that are covered in class. I'm hoping this will allow for more differentiation, especially for my higher achieving students.

Hyperdocs in the high school classroom can definitely enhance student agency-this allows them to work through the content at their own pace, and will be especially helpful in my Art classes as I ask students to design and manage their own projects. Using a hyperdoc in this capacity will also allow my students to set their own goals, and monitor their progress toward achieving those goals.

I think hyperdocs are going to allow my students to control their own pacing so that they don't have to wait around as much. This is also going to free up my time so that I can conference with students who are struggling.

I can see using HyperDocs in the classroom as a way to help students self-pace more effectively, rather than mostly being teacher led. This will allow for much easier differentiation and allow for me to help my lower students much more efficiently and effectively.

I love the idea of pulling together small groups of students who need additional support (or extension) during hyperdoc work times. I’m excited to try this!
