I would have loved more of your thoughts from each of the pillars and why you felt to center on those, or perhaps on how you arrived at those four as being the central pillars out of all the possible aspects of culture and identity to focus on.

I appreciate how you phrase academic "growth" as opposed to arbitrary academic "success" - because that makes it more individual and personal and multimodal (not just using standardized tests for measuring success), bringing in lived experiences as the first pillar as that's what shapes individual students' intersecting/hybrid/dynamic identities and cultures. And then how you bring in the power of a dynamic mind - constantly evolving.. that's a powerful idea. I look forward to hearing more about what you mean by that and how that can be focused on and developed in the classroom.
