Another thing that has changed in some workplaces is the amount of income. Pre-covid there was not many stores that were going out of business. During covid, there has been many stores that have gone out of business due to them not being an essential service.

All of this is from my personal experience, and what I've read.The reason why I think this is because Google have changed their workplace structure over their years, and have made it so that you can the work the way you want  - including schools. Workplaces have understood that making a traditional environment work feels like a labor job isn't a good idea. I feel as thought workplaces are also more vary of mental-illnesses and understanding. We have managers who are much more empathetic, and can genuinely help than 20 years ago.

Organizations are a lot more organized and efficient in the new workplace thanks to modern technology.  Computer programs made to automate certain tasks like track a worker's hours, or send emails have drastically changed the organization structure of businesses. For example, businesses used to have a lot of paperwork. However most documents can be saved on a USB and companies have their own cloud servers that securely store information. Workers are able to access things faster and more easily.

Post-Covid
Ever since the lockdown, many businesses have been forced to move things online and use online collaborating and video calling platforms. Physical interactions were not considered harmful and stores did not need much looking after regarding public health and safety.
Now in organizations, due to covid, we see many precautions being taken such as one direction aisles, hand sanitizer dispensers almost everywhere in the store, and even glass shields. Wearing masks are now mandatory as well. Some organizations have also had to downsize and let go some of their employees while others had to start working from home.
Post-Covid precautions have also resulted in angry customers who are rather cautious and cranky. Masks make it challenging to hear what the person is saying properly or to clearly get your point across. During the beginning of covid, stores were filled with customers all trying to stock up on items and it was chaotic.

Post covid, the workplace only allows a certain number of employees to be working at a time. There must be a six foot distance between yourself and your coworkers. Masks are now mandatory and many places are using technology to interact with one another. Cleaning is taken very seriously now as workers have to make sure to wipe down tables after each customer

Even though my workplace is very clean and we taking cleaning precautions very seriously, I'm still terrified that one day I am going to contract covid, not know it and spread it to coworkers and customers. It is honestly really scary that even during the heat of the pandemic, we still had line ups to the road at Tim Hortons. I think the customers should have been more considerate about the world situation. Now, at my workplace, our dining room areas are opening back up therefore, we have to clean the tables before someone sits down and after and make sure that people are sitting far enough away from each other at separate tables. Even then they still do not listen which just makes my job even harder and not as safe for everyone else.
