I can think of a million shows I'd want to watch in this class, but the issue is that theyre technically dark fantasy rather than sci-fi, though they do have sci-fi elements. Wynnona Earp and Supernatural are two tv shows I wish I could write about in this class, however they're not school appropriate or really sci-fi. I guess that's more of an example of how sci-fi is a large influence in various media. People worry about technological revolution, but it would be our fault for allowing a technology under our control to take over. There's something raw and real that an AI couldn't truly possess. The raw and real energy that allows us to feel, to make art, to create change, and to honestly progress our world is something that a robot cannot have. I think I want to gravitate more towards psychiatry/psychology where mental conditions are treated instead of general, standard therapy. The issue would be needing a masters or doctorate in either, and getting a delayed start into the workforce. I am not upset, it is just what's on my mind because we did not expect it to come back. It is very small, so the treatment should be quick and easy.
