At first I had trouble trying to find a website template that I liked in the photography section. In the end I chose an actor and model template, despite not doing that particular subject. 

I learnt a lot about how to make a website today, like for example I learnt how to make anchors and link that to certain parts of the website. One of the problems I had, was the fact that the software was being really slow, and it crashed a few times, but luckily I saved a lot and I never lost anything. I also found out that on WIX, the way you make your picture smaller or bigger evenly is you just drag without pressing anything, unlike the Shift-Drag that is on Word; which took me a while to figure out and get my head around. I only really just added some pictures for my portfolio and that's it. Before it's finished I need to add a logo I have been creating, and add a YouTube video to it. But I have added a title: Joe Green Media and Photography. I also added an about me page, which I had a few problems with. First of all, the text didn't look clear with the backgrounds I chose; I changed the font, made it bigger etc, but none of it worked. Eventually I chose a different background from the one I chose before of a field, which I changed to a picture of a copper statue. This seemed to work better than the other ones.

The text I used:

"Hi, my name is Joe Green. 
I am a media student at college I am capable of all type of work including videography and normal photography I am looking for all types of work and if you need anything done feel free to contact me.

I am currently studying Creative Media at Harlow College, where I am studying all aspects of the industry. Since I began work at Harlow College I have been working at a media company for work experience. With this experience and with my skills in media growing increasingly every week, I think I am a more than a satisfactory choice. Whatever you want me to do, I'll do it and I wont be satisfied if you're not satisfied; I will finish the work on time, to the level  that you would expect."

I went with Greg to the photo studio to take some portraits of each other and put them on our websites. One of the pictures that I took of Greg I put on my website. I then tested the contact me page to see if that worked and it did; I got Jack to send me an email through it and it got sent straight to my email. Me and Jack also recorded feedback for each other, so I will definitely use that for my evaluation.

Overall I enjoyed working on my actual website and the process before it with taking pictures. I'm happy with how the website turned out, I like the front page and everything else to be honest. The only thing I wish was different with it was I wish there was a way you could click on the pictures and it would pop-up with it larger.
