It was used by the US Air force. This device was inside most bombing aircraft, and would allow for a target on where the bomb would land based on the current conditions of the plane and the weather.

Without the contribution of this 450 horsepower engine from PRATT & WHITNEY, the planes might have not worked as good, if the engine was from a different company.

Each gun took 11 men to man and operate.  The main problem with these guns was that when you aimed and fired at the spot where you think your target was going to be, the target would have moved already.  Which later led to a computerized aiming sight getting developed.

The code wheels were changed based on the situation and the times. This is the second version of the machine, the first was designed in the 1930's and was called SIGABA. The device was secretly patented and shared with the Navy a few years later. This machine was used on the Battleship North Carolina and other battle ships to relay code. Barely any of the crew members knew about this machine, it was on a need to know basis some of the higher officers didn't even
know about it. Neither Germany or Japan could break the code throughout WWII and the machine was later retired in 1959.

It is a 405mm round that weighs in at 2,700 pounds. Capable of hitting targets at ranges of 21 miles.  It has the ability to penetrate another ship's armor or a reinforced base on shore.

Having a crew of between four and six people these tanks were used by the army throughout the 1950's and 16's.
Picture taken by me on 8.22.2017 at the Military Museum in Columbia, SC]]> 2017-10-24 00:59:33 UTC https://padlet.com/inzerop1/yjmz1i1xpfyz/wish/199820276 inzerop1 https://padlet.com/inzerop1/yjmz1i1xpfyz/wish/199821061 This was a smaller tank that was used in Vietnam.  This tank had two machine guns attached to it one .50 Caliber M2 machine gun and a 7.62 M60 machine gun which can't be seen because its not mounted but it would have been on the back.  Being a smaller tank this tank only weighs 7.5 tons and only carries a crew of three.  These tanks were in the Vietnam war and in service between 1962 and 1973.
