houses are essential for any community. in the suburbs we can find houses with similar designs. this is unique to the west as we don't see that in most countries. we can also find more expensive houses with a lawn , decorations and sometimes thy are on the edge looking down on to the trails. what we can find in houses we cant find in apartments, or duplexes and vice versa.

houses with lawns often require a lot more land space and can come with a play area or a basketball hoop for kids which is a very common sight. we can also see garden gnomes and flowering plants. sometimes we might see mailboxes which are common to the community but people could also have their own mailboxes.

vehicles are a big part of suburban life. if one stands on the street one can see all kinds of vehicles from big trucks to construction vehicles to bicycles. when people think of the suberbs they think of a slow lifestyle but right outside their homes the world keeps moving fast and here are some vehicles i can photograph to give the viewers a sense of what the streets are like in and around a suberbian neighbourhood.

a big differentiating factor between Big cities like Toronto and the suburbs like Oakville is nature. we se a lot of trees all around the neighborhood. we see different types of trees and unique insects. in the business of life we often don't stop to look around at nature but it is a huge part of what makes the suburbs a peaceful place to live in

i plan on using a macro lens for the insects and showcase a diversity in the flora

suburbs have a rich diversity of fauna . the animals of the community and co exist and strive alongside humans we some come out during the day like squirrels and some come out at night like racoons. there are also some special ones that send people running (totally not me :-)) Coyotes

regardless of where you live you need shops to survive. in big cities we see hundreds of shops all around us. but in the suberbs there are a relatively less number of stores so majority of the community shop in the same space unless they choose to commute further to find more
