I usually leave my studying until the day before the test after I’ve done my homework so it stay fresh in my mind. I flip through the unit several times and try to remember what I read each time. I list out the things I remember and then go through it again. I flip through one last time before the test itself. This works for me

Great input students! Tips on how I would study would include

Study a week before the exam.
Asking my teacher during his/her tutorial time questions over the content.
Studying using classical music to keep me focused
- Putting "Do Not Disturb" on my cell phone. Make a tab that says "Studying" so people know not to bother you when this is on.
Paying attention in class "Input determines Output"
Make my own notes (Highlight important info like names of people, dates, events, etc...). If you take ownership of your notes, then you will learn better
Repetition. Repetition. Repetition. Think of your favorite athlete, musician, etc... They became great by repeating the same things over and over again (i.e. Kobe with free throw shooting, Messi with passing drills).
Draw your notes out. Some of y'all like writing them out, others like drawing. Use your strengths to your advantage.
