The importance of giving is to show your love for someone in a nice way. Giving is also help to the poor during holidays such as thanksgiving. CHRISTMAS RIGHT! The importance of this day is not to give or get it but its the time to celebrate the life of the Lord and to spend quality time with your love ones. This day is very special to my family because when you give you can see a smile on a love ones face and its the best feeling of all. My mother once said ''be grateful for what you have because there are many out here that don't have anything''. I remember when i was 7 years old, my daddy was out of town on christmas eve. Keep in mind he stayed out of town for 5 months because of the work that he does. That christmas eve night i cried myself to sleep because i thought my dad would never come home i thought he was gone for like two years. Meanwhile i cried myself to sleep. Later on that night i heard something rumbling but i was to sad to get up and see what was going on, i forgot all abut christmas and all. The morning came and i got out of bed droopy face feeling all down and bad. I heard a voice and i smiled i walked in the living room and said ''daddy's home''....i cried tears of joy, not wanting to open any of my presents because the best present of all was seeing my dad!
