• technical - the qualities that make us human, those that are within our ability. for example, love and compassion. this trait clearly shows that we are different from other Allah's creations (animal or plant). why so? it's because we have 'akal', we can think rationally. when we reflect over the Qur'an and its verses, we can see that its main theme is man. the word 'al-insan' was mentioned 63 times and the word 'al-nas' was mentioned 240 times in the Qur'an meaning that it is indeed the book of humanity as it talks about human affairs. for example, charities, zakah, sedeqah, and even salah.

• in a long hadith recorded in Hadith Qudsi (sacred hadith), it is said that God, on the Day of Judgment, will be displeased with those who do not care for the sick people, and who do not give food to those who ask. God will interrogate them and demand explanation from them.

• "righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous." the fact that Allah chose a man as a messenger shows exactly how important human is to the religion; to spread the value of humanity in the quran. as

• human are the only creation that is most capable to comprehend and spread the knowledge of Qur'an
    - we are derived from the same Divine Origin
• it is easier for the  mankind to accept Islam as they are from the same kind
    - can communicate and understand each other with no trouble
    - can portray and apply such knowledge to everyday lived reality
• human is created by God with a god-given nature and virtues
    - we have this unique status of being the most honored creation

• to help muslim's economy system
    - the rich would help the poor by giving sedeqah and paying zakah
    - will lead to growth and development of of all muslims
    - the poor could have a better life
• to spread dakwah
    - humanity is one of the traits that attracts others to join Islam
    - shown through our good actions
• to preserve human equality
    - no matter the race, skin colour, social status and religion
    - everyone is treated the same
    - according to prophet, all human beings are equal like the teeth of a comb
