journal 1: My first week of school has been interesting. I have had a lot of work, and I do like my schedule. The thing I am most happy about is that I am finally a senior and I got to see all of my school friends. The only hard thing that has happened with the first week of school is adjusting my sleep schedule. A song that has been stuck in my head all week is Tumblr Girls by G-Eazy.

This quote means to me that people who have a passion for their work/career aren't doing it for the money, they are doing it because it means something deeper to them. This is why I want to become a travel nurse, not only because they make good money, just because I love to take care of people. I get so annoyed when people always ask me why I want to work with people that are sick and not choose an easier career. I just told them that I've always wanted to do this since I was a little girl, and i found out about travel nurses like 3 years ago. Ever since I found out about them I've always wanted to do it. Imagine being able to travel around the world and take care of people, and see different types of cultures and make new relationships.

9/26/23 Journal 4: How should we measure our lives? In years? In moments? In accomplishments? Something else? Or no measure at all? Why?

We should measure our lives in moments because we go through many different changes in life and are able to make memories with the people we love and also by ourselves. We could measure it by time but I feel like we never know when we are going to die so that wouldn't make sense. A song that has been stuck in my head this week is Slime You Out by Drake and SZA.

My impossible dream for the world is for everything to be peaceful in the world and not so chaotic with everyone not being able to get along. I say this is an impossible dream because this has been going on for centuries with wars and racism etc. I feel like this would be amazing if this dream of mine for the world could be made possible. This song that has been stuck in my head today is Electric By Alina Baraz and Khalid.

I would say about abortions because in the past I did not really agree with them. I was always taught that they were wrong especially in school and from my family. I realized as I got older that they aren't that bad and I shouldn't judge others who choose to do this because I don't know what their situation is or why they want to get one. A song that has been stuck in my head this week is TELEKINESIS by Travis Scott feat. SZA & Future.

Who in your life has been a voice of great wisdom and insight?

My mom and my grandma have been a voice of great wisdom in my life. They both have taught me many things in life and always being helpful when I am struggling with anything.

I am most looking forward to having a fresh start, and being able to set new goals for myself. Most of all I am looking forward to graduating from high school.
