The Inca Empire practiced polytheistic religions. Their primary gods were:

 Viracocha, who they believed created the earth, stars, and all living things

Inti, the god of the sun

Illapa, the god of rain, thunder and war

They worshipped their gods in shrines and places called Huacas, which could be a cave, a battleground or even just an oddly shaped rock.
