         <description><![CDATA[<div>Nadida Eweida, a British airways employee was discriminated for wearing a cross necklace over her uniform. The airline said it was against the dress code to wear a necklace over uniform. Yet the uniform policy was changed in 2007 so that one could wear symbols of faith over their uniform's. She stated that they violated her rights under article 9 of the European Human Rights. Nadida ended up winning the case, and was allowed to wear her cross necklace. </div>]]></description>

After the tragedy of 9/11 Americans view the Muslim culture in a negative way. They have been physically and mentally targeted. Social media creates a platform for more discrimination and hate to be spread across the U.S. <br>- American Jewish religion tend to be politically liberal, and have voting patterns that resemble to those groups that are struggling. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>- In some religions like, judism throughout the Unites States, women are looked at less than men and should be looked at that way by society as well.<br>-In the 1960's when women started to get their rights, men and women of their particular religion was upset because it goes against their religion. <br>- Some other social barriers that face religions are the views of homosexuality. While America is coming to accept it, it is not accepted in religion. Some might find it offensive but within their religion they cant come to accept it.<br>- In the Protestant Christian church they encourage their members to abstain from drugs, alcohol, and tobacco to help alleviate the worldwide drug problems.<br>- Today, the church also opposed modern social reforms. <br><br></div>]]></description>

They argued the fact that she did not take off for any other Jewish holidays. She stated that recent family events like the death of her mother- in- law and father strengthened her faith. The court ruled that the company lets her off for Yom Kippur every year. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>EEOC v. WilTel Inc., 81 F.3d 1508 (10th Cir. 1996).<br>A women stated she was discriminated from getting a job due to her Christian religious belief. The plaintiff said the women was not as qualified as the other applicants and religion had nothing to do with it. The employer hired a Christian, so the court ruled in favor of the company.  <br><br></div>]]></description>
