I really enjoyed reading about the different patterns of development that young students go through. It amazes me that even though our students are unique and constantly changing, there is still a level of structure and patterns that can be identified in the midst of the unknown. As children are growing older, each new year brings both a lot of growth and also challenges as they are blooming.

As a future teacher, I want to appreciate all the stages and seasons of life that my students are continuously going through because that is shaping them into who they are and who they are going to become. It is important to demonstrate patience and compassion towards my students who are doing their best to navigate through life's ups and downs. Throughout this timeline project, I learned that students undergo growth at their own pace and it is valuable to find the balance between challenging my students to grow but not rushing them in the process.
