           This book is an autobiography of Thomas Merton, who became a Trappist monk.

2."Come Be My Light" by Mother Theresa
           It is a book about the life of St. Teresa of Calcutta.

3."In Good Company: The Fast Track from the Corporate World to Poverty, Chastity, and Obedience" by James Martin SJ
        This book is the autobiography of James Martin who worked in a important IT company but gave it up to become a Jesuit priest.
4. "Jesus the Bridegroom" by Brant Pitre
        It is a book that offers a theological and cultural explanation of the Gospel fragment in which Jesus talks to a Samaritan woman (Jn 4, 1-42).
5."Where There Is Love, There Is God" by Mother Theresa
        It is a book about the spiritual life of Mother Teresa.

6. "Humility Rules: Saint Benedict's 12-Step Guide to Genuine Self-Esteem" by Augustine Wetta
      In this book are presented some rules of ordinary life starting from the St. Benedict rules.

We, the CMD Sisters, experienced this event strongly. 
   A mission of our Congregation is reflected in charity. Thus, through the Sighet community, the Congregation responded to the charism, through the willingness to receive refugees. 
   It was a unique experience. I learned what a war means, listening to the sufferings, the pains, the fears of the hosted people.    Through the Charism of the Congregation, the sisters strive to live a good life of prayer and practice charity.
   I met the sisters in 2016. In the fall of 2018, I entered the Congregation to have a monastery experience. I was attracted to the monastic life. In March 2019, I received the monastic robe and began the novitiate.   The Letter                                                                               Sighetu Marmatie,

                Dear Ingrid- sr. Maria Paulina,
       Always be grateful to God for all that you have received.
       Be grateful for the good days and the bad days; for the successes and the trials; for life and health; for the moments of joy; for the lessons of hardship; for what you are, for what you have become; for by the grace of God you are what you are.
        In this year, there are many different events that you will probably remember.
         First of all, earlier this year, in February 2022 the War in Ukraine began, and people fled to save their lives. Many refugees were hosted by us, in the houses of our Congregation from Sighetul Marmatiei.
      In this year our Congregation celebrated 101 years of existence and it experiences the same experience as our first sisters in 1921, who cared for the victims of World War I. In 2022, more than 1500 refugees were hosted by the Sighet sisters.
      The second experience for this year was to sign up for the Faculty of Sociology and Social work. For admission I had to write a motivation letter. We had a structure of composition. While writing this letter, I discovered that I made many good choices that contributed to my becoming a consecrated person. I discovered how beautiful God has guided my steps.
       On September 8, I turned 1 year of vows. It was the first year I tried to live the religious vows as well as possible, but I have a lot to learn.
       These were the main experiences of this year.
