The main problem would be a guy who most people think is dump but trying to prove them all he can do more than they think.

The story starts with this feeling of power in Gump after passing many years unable to walk normally but finally he found this unexpected power to run fast what he will use for the rest.

Then he enrolled up in the US army where he faught in Vietnam war he also found two important persons his best friend unfortunately who died there.

The end of the story is so much better where he and the former chief of is unity in Vietnam became rich, very rich. He also get back with his first love and had a child but his wife died some years after their marriage.
According to me it's all about the fact all people has a special gift a particular skills even though we cannot see it at the first sight but people can amazed us when they fulfill their plenty potential. In this story we can learn what determination is and how far it can lead us. Forrest did his level best to rescue his friends in this mission and he got award from the president of USA.Then Forrest returned to USA where Forrest participated in Bing pong matches and he won the title and he was again got award from the USA's president.
