Global temperatures have risen by 1.1 °C since the 19th century, with the largest increase occurring in the last century. The hottest years are concentrated in the 21st century. The oceans have absorbed most of the heat, especially at the surface, and sea levels have risen about 25 cm since 1880. This has generated changes in climate patterns and an increase in extreme phenomena such as heatwaves, storms, and hurricanes.

Natural disasters can destroy humans and animals habitats. Humans were affected by the droughts that made humans run out of food and animals were affected by devastating the forests and their habitats.

Climate can vary over decades, bringing droughts, floods, or other extreme conditions that affect water supply, agriculture, and economies. For example, the Dust Bowl in North America in the 1930s and the Sahel drought in Africa in the 1970s and 1980s caused severe damage and even widespread hunger.

20,000 years ago, large areas of Europe, Asia, and the Americas were covered by ice sheets several kilometers thick. Over time, these massive layers melted and retreated. Today, the only major ice sheets remain in Greenland and Antarctica, although glaciers still exist in mountainous regions and floating ice can be found in the Arctic and Antarctic oceans.

In the last 100 years, Earth has warmed by over 2°F, and greenhouse gases like CO2 and methane have gone up a lot. Many believe human activities, like burning fossil fuels are behind it, which has led to continuing debate about whether climate change is mostly caused by us or part of a natural cycle.

This video is trying to told us that the factor that is causing the global warming isn't the natural factors, is the people and the greenhouse gases.

Greenhouse gases keep heat close to the Earth’s surface making it livable for humans and animals. However, global warming is happening largely due to an over-emittance of these gases and fossil fuels (natural oil, gasoline, coal).
