         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>Students were given a project to create a presentation showing the connection between their CTE courses and general education courses. </p></li><li><p>This created a stronger sense of support for students when they collaborated rather than taking the classes separately. </p></li><li><p>Students were more engaged and more likely to participate when they see a connection. </p></li></ul>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>After COVID, it has come more clear that CTE classes are critical for education. </p></li><li><p>CTE students can work on a wide variety of projects. When giving students a chance to collaborate, it allows them to practice and hone in on their craft that can be useful. </p></li></ul><p>Example- "if you help run the school’s theatre club and need set pieces built for an upcoming play, you could approach your school’s construction trades instructor about partnering up. Carpentry students can use a project like that to practice various tasks like measuring and cutting wood, assembling small structures and painting. The CTE students get experience, while the drama department gets help producing the play."</p>]]></description>

         <title>CTE and SPED teachers collaborate with results</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<ul><li><p>CTE and SPED teachers were able to collaborate to explore their options and opportunities of work based learning programs. </p></li><li><p>Programs were able to be personalized to students with disabilities (SWD) needs and interests. </p></li><li><p>Through the program a higher number of SWD knew how to apply or applied to work based learning programs. </p></li></ul>]]></description>
