         <description><![CDATA[<div>August 14th, 1945 Japan surrenders ending WWII.<br>August 15, 1948 the Republic of Korea(South Korea) is established.&nbsp;<br>January 17, 1950 North Korean lead Kim Il-Sung proposes a liberation plan and is backed by China and the Soviets to invade South Korea.<br>Sept 12, 1950 North Korea reaches its farthest point in advance although there are thousands of UN troops waiting for them.&nbsp;<br>October 25, 1950 The UN had defeated most North Korean troops and is now pushing into the country.</div>]]></description>

But just by limiting themselves so there wasn't any direct conflict they were only bringing themselves closer to the brink.</div>]]></description>
