People's demand for all kinds of things is increasing, which leads to people's increasing exploration of nature. Also because of human intervention, the natural environment has changed a lot. For example, building and developing land, overgrazing and overcultivation lead to land degradation

Of course, there is no denying that economic development has a positive impact on the environment. When people's living standards reach a certain height, there will be certain requirements for the environment of self-survival.

Harry Markowitz first proposed the foundation of portfolio theory in 1952. The risk-reducing effect of diversifying investment can be described as that unanticipated bad news will be made up for by unanticipated good news in some ways. The tools for distinguishing portfolios giving the highest return for a specific level of risk were give to us by Markowitz. Investors can choose the best risk return balance for themselves, according to the degree of personal risk avoidance- at least.

The technological changes of the past five centuries have been accompanied by significant increases in people’s living standards(Bowles, Edward, and Roosevelt, 2005, p8). Technological development brings continuous economic growth, but it does not mean that everyone can earn enough income. Although the economy has grown, the problems caused by neglecting social equity have become more and more prominent. As stated by Wetherly and Otter(2011, p.341), Inequality can lead to deteriorate conditions for workers. If social equity is not paid attention to and income is distributed reasonably, workers are likely to be exploited and earn less.

In conclusion, a guaranteed quality of life and equity are more important than economic and technological development. The country should improve infrastructure construction, pay more attention to the vulnerable groups.

While business globalization has changed the world of business and consumers, the extent to which this is positive or negative, especially in areas such as environmental impact, is debatable. The development of telecommunications networks is a positive development that can reduce the negative impact of business globalization on the environment. This paper first lists the negative impact of business globalization on the environment, then analyzes how telecommunications networks can reduce this impact, and finally describes the current situation and future prospects of telecommunications networks.
