They took it upstairs, opened it and found Rufus. He had an English class with us. Thursday was the last day of school before a short (one-day :-) ) mid-term holiday. It was a special day because in the morning the students practised for a school show that was to start at 1 p. m. for the students and at 3 p. m . for the parents. Rufus was looking forward to this show so much. But guess what happened. During some road works a cable was damaged and there was no electricity in the theatre building. At about 12 it was clear that they would not fix it and so the show was canceleld. What a pity! Fortunatelly we had built a baloonship for Rufus the day before so we just said good-bye to him and let him fly away.
