All the men animals wanted

to steal the canoe of the selfish

whale becuase he had that

strongest canoe. And this was

the starfish idea.

The starfish tells all the men

animals the plan on how to steal

the canoe. The starfish is planning

on distracting the whale so they

can steal the canoe. Because they

will never make it to the island without a stronger boat.

The starfish distracts the whale man by taking lice of his head and telling him joke. Mean while the other men animals are trying to the steal the canoe.

As the starfish was trying to distract the whale, the whale got tired and decided to check on his canoe. And to his surprise it was gone.

The whale realized that he was tricked and is very angry. The whale beats the starfish because he tricked him. Causing the starfish to have ragged cuts on his body. The starfish was so embarresed that he hid himself in the sand. Which is why today starfish still have a ragged torn appearance and hide themselves in the sand.

The whale chases after the men that took his canoe and out of a wound in his head he spouted water high into the air.

As the whale is chasing after the men, they are all scared that the whale will catch them and they will dround. But the bear felt confident that he could row them to safety with his strong arms.

Then men paddled for many days and nights trying to run away from the whale. But the whale continued to swim after them. The men finally find land and they get of the boat. But the native companion danced on the boat until there became a hole in it. He then pushed it away from the shore where it settled somehwere in the water and became and island that is now at the entrance of Lake Illawarra.

When the whale got to the island he saw that the men where on the island and his canoe was destroyed. Still today the whale swims around the shore and spouts water out of anger of what happened to his canoe.
