The well known Stamp Act was first passed on March 22, 1765. This certain act was used to assist the payments of the British and their men that were once stationed in the colonies. The need for the colonists to always pay taxes using those certain stamps on anything important of course angered them. In response, many of the British had decided to riot, boycott, along with targeting the tax collectors. Eventually, the Stamp Act concluded on October 25, 1765.

The protest of the Boston Tea Party occurred on December 16 of the year 1773. This politically happened due to the annoyance of the British causing so called “taxation without representation.” So there at Griffin’s Wharf in Boston, Massachusetts the American Colonists had decided to dump 342 chests of tea straight into the harbor's water. This was a way for the colonists to show and prove to Britain that they were no longer able to endure that treatment. This of course gave Americans more purpose to then fight for their independence.

The Battle of Lexington and Concord took place on April 19, 1775 and it is what first initiated the American Revolutionary War. As tension was already well known between the 13 colonies and the British for some time, this event was the start of a new beginning that seemed as if it was never going to end. It even got its famous and well known name as the “shot heard ‘round the world.” Most importantly, it is what drove and gave more reasons for the Americans to act and become a part of the revolution which then caused more of an effect on the British.

With George Washington as the general leading the men, they were able to cross the Delaware River during a monstrous storm. They then crossed paths with a group of garrisons of Hessian mercenaries in Trenton. That is where they battled it out in the early morning until the Americans ended with a triumphus victory that led them to have more inspiration and stimulation from that place on.
