Emphasis the needs in the classroom, showing that the culture is structured.
The teacher is very straightforward with their expectations.
I know t may not be visisible on the paper, but may be going deeper into the students responsibilities in the p.r.i.d.e

This list will encourage students to be mindful of their peers and collaborate with each other effectively
The values of empathy and mindfulness are reflected in these norms - they call for students to be considerate of others while also asking for self awareness when needed
I would consider revising the technology norm to say "use technology wisely and appropriately - do NOT use it instead of your own words. I would also change the "we need a quiet learning room" to say "please remain quiet when the teacher or another student is talking"

These norms have a positive impact on students because they are clear and directly address key points for maintaining order in the classroom. The values I see reflected are respect and the idea that good behavior should be recognized and taken pride in. I would reword norm number five and say. Listen when the teacher or one of my classmates is speaking.

It shows that that the classroom culture is based on simple things that humans can do,
It shows the teach is enforcing words like will, which means that the teacher believes that the students can do it.
I think this is fine. I would not change anything about this.

These norms impact student culture by highlighting some things to do and also not to do- these norms seem to reflect what the teacher wants out of the classroom more than encompassing student values and expectations. The assumption is that everyone being clean, quiet, and focused makes a positive learning environment for students. Even the norms that are phrased positively have a "no" connotation to them. These norms could be adjusted to consider the student's experience of being in the classroom

This is one of the two norm pages that I woould rewrite, just becasue it's slightly unclear. It uses a we statement, but not in a productive way, it says we need, not we followed by an actionable phrase. I think we could have been included in front of "Keep our room neat" to make the norms sound less punitive. The no tattling at the end is confusing and not clear, especially if I were subbing in that room. how would I know how to keep the students accountable?

"Always be kind, Treat other the way you want to be treated and Be Honest" They are all very important when we refer to classroom culture because it help us create a better and understanding environment respecting each others cultures and values, like that everyone will feel comfortable.

This norms help us create a very much understanding and consider classroom.

These norms would create a respectful learning environment.
That students are in a shared space, and so we have to contribute to the order and organization of the classroom

This list impacts culture in a classroom because students will be encouraged to make mistakes, thus creating a learning environment that fosters taking chances and trying your best.
The value of community is reflected in this set of norms - students are charged with the task of caring for and being considerate of others.
I would revise "take care of our classroom" and add the word "daily" to it.
