War on drugs an important Civil Issue because of all the overdoses our country is facing. Drugs are a danger to society since they are so easy to get. Also drugs are so dangerous because people that are abusing the drugs do not see a problem with it and they know if they overdose and get Narcan from paramedics, which helps keep people alive that have overdosed.
