Academic Writing Skills: Student's Book 2. Cambridge University Press.

In Shark Bay, Australia, an excellent example of animal culture is observed among a group of bottlenose dolphins. These dolphins collect sea sponges from the sea floor and use them as protection on their noses while they’re foraging for living. Only a family group of about 20 has this practice among the 130 dolphins in this area. This behavior indicates that the dolphins are learning and sharing the use of sponges as tools within their group.

Suggested answer:

According to Chin et. al. (2015), a group of bottlenose dolphins were found in Shark Bar, Australia, using sea sponges on the their noses to protect them during their hunt for food, and this behaviour is developed and passed on within only the one big group of dolphin family out of the other 130 that live in the area.
