I've been working on a linocut print today using a range of pre-prepared papers to print on. These include; collage (using old test screenprints, pages from an old atlas and old Leeds Student newspapers) and mono screenprints (on plain paper and on pages of the old atlas). I also pulled a series soft ghost prints and then printed on 'found' paper sin etc studio - screen-runs mostly that otters students had discarded. Another fun day in the print workshop yesterday. This time my first ever CMYK screen print. This is for a 'coffee' themed print exhibition that the Leeds Print Workshop (I'm a member) are holding in the cafe 'Opposite' - its opposite the Parkinson Building. This is on A3 paper and taken from photo I took in Tanzania about 22 years ago (my daughter was 4 1/2 I think). She's holding raw coffee beans that were drying in the sun.
