The use of art had a lot of significance in the industrial revolution because of the uses of Realism and Naturalism. These were art styles that encouraged artists and writers to showcase the average person's everyday life in great detail. The use of realism showcased the realities of the middle/working class people. We got to see issues like poverty, and labor.
