         <description><![CDATA[<p>“<em>How can the community (or a specific community) practically help young children to practice </em>[insert your chosen topic here*] <em>in their community context or classroom practice</em>?”</p><p><br/></p><p>Create <strong>ONE (1)</strong> TikTok-<em>styled</em> video that creatively shows how the member(s) of the community can support a child in developing the&nbsp; chosen literacy practice you are focused on within the/a community.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>This should be informative, be supported by the research gathered, and should note at least three practical instances (within a setting or settings) how a child can work on your group’s chosen everyday literacy practice.&nbsp; It should consider community needs, funds of knowledge, and differentiation within your video content.</p><p><br/></p><p>Your TikTok-<em>styled</em> video should be short, snappy, fun, creative piece, and less than <em>120 secs (2 mins) </em>&nbsp;in length and the video can be styled as a stand-up comic response, a confessional, a warning, etc.&nbsp; Creativity is key.&nbsp;</p><p><br>Before your allocated the week 10 tutorial, the video should be uploaded to your time stamped Padlet, then the link cut/pasted into the Moodle dropbox.&nbsp; You may put the video into your Monash Google Drive folder or upload it as an unlisted YouTube video - Provide us with the shared link within Padlet and then Moodle Dropbox (cut/paste Padlet link to Dropbox notes section.&nbsp; Be sure that the <a rel="noopener noreferrer nofollow" href="https://youtu.be/j0-mYmB0ZUY">link is accessible to anyone given the link</a>.&nbsp; As a group, we will watch these TikTok creations in class.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>As an <em>individual</em>, you will:&nbsp;</p><ul><li><p>Find two (2) peer-reviewed journal articles linked to the literacy topic of your group’s choosing and upload it to your group’s Padlet before your allocated class time/day during week 4.&nbsp; The Padlet must be time stamped</p></li></ul><p><br></p><p>As a <em>group</em>, your team will:</p><ul><li><p>Collaboratively identify the literacy area your team endeavours to become an “expert” in.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Curate the best-of-the-best peer-reviewed journal articles on your topic within a Padlet your team creates (making sure each team member contributes at least 2 articles). Remember quality is key! Make certain your Padlet is timestamped in order to demonstrate you’ve completed the task on-time. Note: during Week 4 the lecturer will mark that you have completed the uploading of 2 articles per group member by the start of the class time. If you have done this, your team will receive 5 points towards your mark.&nbsp;</p></li><li><p>Create your TikTok Styled video, consider community needs, funds of knowledge,&nbsp; differentiation within your video content.
