They were very resouceful with natural items. They built little huts with sticks, and only ate wild animals (deer, pigs, and other), and veggies and fruit. They were here way before europeans came here from spain in 1492. They enslaved the native americans and treated them super badly. native americans did not have weapons nearly as powerful as the europeans guns. Many native Americans were killed by disease as well. Some exaples of native american tribe names are the wampanog, apache, and Seminole. Later, the state we know as oklahoma was called by the Europeans, "indian territory". In the 1600s native Americans and British settlers got togeather and had the first thanksgiving. Abraham lincon would turn that into a national holiday. Later, the seminole and other native american tribes were pushed out of there home by Americans. Soon they were pushed into swampy areas where disease was spreadeng and killing native americans. The seminole wars then started. Native Americans are still around today in reserved areas. Before Europeans came to America, there were native Americans everywhere.
