Britain's Royal Air Force successfully fended off against German forces, causing the Nazis to draw back their forces. This battle was the deciding point on whether or not Europe would be under completer Nazi control. With Britain's successful defense, the Allies would still have a fighting chance in the war.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Joseph Stalin asks the Allies to open a second front against Nazi Germany in Europe.  Roosevelt chose not to do so and instead establish a front in North Africa. America's decision to do so would eventually cause tension between them and the USSR.  It would also allow the U.S. to be able to attack Italy and help protect the Suez Canal from Germans.</div>]]></description>
