She asked me "what was I going to do with a psychology degree?" I said " I want to be a child psychologist." She says "Schonta, stop that." She gave what seemed like 50 million reasons to get a degree in English. Administrators basically steered me in that direction and it was a good match in the long run because I love to read. I got into the program and began my clinicals. I soon learned that nursing wasn't for me, so I took a break from school and became an intern for the government and worked one on one with students with autism.
