I nowadays also much prefer watching tv series in english as the german dubbing tends to be inferior most of the time. Jokes aside, first and foremost a good teacher is competent at imparting knowledge and has to be a good role model exhibiting interpersonal skills. But from my experience, a quality that makes a good teacher great is the ability to - to put it simply - make things interesting.
