My last five was spent at the Harrison county animal control/clinic. There I played with animals on my first day because I only had an hour till they closed. On day two and three however, I spent cleaning the habitats so to speak. I cleaned kennels floors scooped poop on the pavement where they let the dogs out for some playtime and bathroom business. I cleaned litter boxes in a dish sink and changed the litter for others. I gave the dogs in quarantine new food blankets and water. When I helped out at the animal shelter I learned that it is a lot of work to run a whole shelter. Everything down to food, cleaning, dishes, love etc.
 I would definitely give blood again I found it very rewarding. And I would definitely help at the shelter.
