Create something original: Instead of writing a final paper about what they learned as a result of their I-Search research,  my students were able to use the chromebooks to create projects. They made movies, shared powerful video compilations, created surveys and shared data
--all things that they would not have been able to do without the chromebooks.
Communicate: We are a nearly paperless classroom. My students and I are able to communicate with each other via email every day. My favorite thing is when they send me links to things pertaining to my Genius Hour project or my I-Search question. 
Work collaboratively for learning: None of these projects were done alone. They use the share and comment features in google docs to do peer reviews.

1. I  gave my students a Google Forms quiz and was able to quickly gather data. I was able to show the students a chart of their responses and the quiz average.

They see each other's answers to questions.
