Every religion has a belief of demons and some actually worship them. I would relate this to a reason for belief. The reason for belief I would relate this to is Agenticity. People believe that if there is a God, there must be a Devil. If there is angels, then there is demons. In this clip, the girl speaks the names of the six demons who were possessing her and we see how people depict possessions.
I think the appropriate red flag for this is Proof By Verbosity. I think this connects with this post because they actually use factual evidence in the movie that can be found if searched for it and they also use the voice recording that was actually recorded during the time of the possession/exorcism. They are well known for the Amytiville Haunting, The Conjuring and the doll Annabelle. Demonology is the study of demons.
I think this relates to the reason for belief; unexplained. The reason why this relates to this is because although Ed and Lorraine studied demons and hauntings, there is still no explanation as to why or how demonic possessions happen or even how demons came to be in this world. Was it myth at first? The red flag that is chosen for this post is Ancient Wisdom. The reason this was chosen is because in early Mesopotamia they believed that all forms of sickness came from spirits entering someones body and attaching themselves to a person. In other cultures, they believed that mental illness was the cause of possession.
